So you are stressed out from spending time searching for UK teaching jobs and you want to unwind. What do you do? You go pick up the game Microbot. In this game, you cruise the pathways with a small spaceship that you control and then blast the enemies as you collect resources to upgrade your weapons.
You can customize your Microbot, but your enemies will get harder and there will be more of them as you go along. It is a fairly good game that will make you want to play it for a while, but you may not get really immersed in the game for long periods of time.
When you are in the first level it is like the film “Innerspace” and you flow along vessels with walls that loom up here and there and it makes you feel as if you are in the middle of an abyss. The fluid pumps your spaceship along and then takes you somewhere new.
You are given two rapid fire guns that you use for killing your enemies and any other enemies that you come across will pop up in various sizes and shapes. When you come across a new foe then it will drop a piece of collectible data. When you get enough of this data then this will give you access to unlock a new bit of technology for your spaceship.
You can experiment with all sorts of combinations and if you equip your spaceship with lancets then you have a very good wrecking spaceship. You have to navigate through each part, blasting things that look like robots.
