Looking at the treacherous movie industry nowadays, it looks like an album with boring old pictures you’ve already seen and you wouldn’t be interested in seeing them again. Your probably already so irritated at seeing them again and again that you may throw them in the corner of your closet and never see them again.
There is a parallel industry in the entertainment field doing better - the gaming industry on the other hand is in a boom. Their stories and voice overs are getting better and better. The consistency of this industry can proudly make gamers say that we haven’t had a single year where we haven’t had any good games at all. The overall quality of experience goes higher and higher - not because of blu-ray or 3D or HD, but its because the quality of production (for a movie its directing) is going up. Experienced story writers and famous musicians now turn towards the gaming industry and lend their faces and their voices where their name would get the fame it deserves.
Advertising with vinyl stickers and large big apple posters cannot recover the slump in the quality of the movie industry. They should instead endorse the gaming industry and in turn the gaming industry should franchise their story out to responsible directors who can ensure that they would ruin the movies. It’s not JUST a game anymore, its a billion dollars that they would ruin if they don’t get it right. The industry has a new leader.
